CaliX-TAutomated Tank Calibration

Sensor-driven tank calibration that automatically maps liquid height to volume during normal operation — without shutdown or emptying the tank.

Tank Calibration Without Stopping the Process

Conventional tank calibration often relies on manual methods that require significant field effort, operational planning and interruption. CaliX-T replaces that workflow with connected sensors, automated data capture and a portable processing device.

A level sensor measures the changing liquid height while a flow meter measures the quantity entering or leaving the tank. CaliX-T receives both signals and pairs every measured height with the corresponding cumulative volume.

As the tank operates, the system automatically develops the height-versus-volume relationship needed for the calibration table. The tank can remain in service, with no need for a dedicated shutdown or complete emptying solely for calibration.

Two Measurements. One Automatic Calibration Table.

Synchronized level and flow data turn normal filling or transfer activity into a tank calibration run.

01

Connect Sensors

A suitable level sensor and flow meter are connected to the tank and the portable CaliX-T device.

02

Start Operation

The tank continues its normal filling, emptying or transfer activity without a special shutdown.

03

Capture Together

CaliX-T synchronizes liquid height with cumulative transferred volume throughout the operation.

04

Build the Table

The system automatically produces the height-versus-volume relationship for the tank.

Move Beyond Conventional Calibration

CaliX-T is designed to reduce the operational burden traditionally associated with tank calibration while improving the consistency of field data capture.

  • Avoid calibration-only plant shutdowns
  • Keep product in the tank during the exercise
  • Replace manual point recording with synchronized acquisition
  • Use real operating movement to develop the calibration curve
  • Reduce field time, coordination and human error
