LSDT Level Switch – Displacer Type
Buoyancy-operated displacer level switch with site-adjustable set points — up to 15 m probe length, Ex.Proof certified.
A suspended displacer from a flexible wire rope is connected to a coupler (magnetic system) via a compression spring. Rising liquid level exerts buoyant force (Archimedes Principle) which compresses the spring and moves the actuator to actuate the switch. During falling level, the spring assumes normal position to release the switch. Site-adjustable set points and up to 5 switching levels in a single probe.
