LTC Level Transmitter – Capacitance Type

No-moving-parts capacitance level transmitter for conductive and non-conductive liquids — with PTFE sleeve for high-temperature service.

LTC is used for sensing the level of a variety of liquids — available for conductive as well as non-conductive liquids. Offered with PTFE sleeve for better insulation & high temperature. In conductive tanks the insulated probe acts as one electrode & the tank wall as another; any change in liquid level changes the dielectric value, changing capacitance proportional to liquid level. Output is industry standard 4–20 mA.

Key Features

  • Cost effective with no moving parts — reliable and maintenance-free
  • Easy to install with field adjustable switch points
  • Works with both conductive and non-conductive liquids
  • PTFE sleeve option for aggressive chemicals and high temperatures
  • Variety of electrode constructions for wide range of services
  • Rigid probes up to 3,000 mm; flexible probes up to 15,000 mm
  • 5 mm resolution; 4–20 mA industry standard output
