FMDW Weight-Based Drum Filling System
Compact, accurate and robust drum filling with load-cell measurement and dual-stage valve control.
FMDW Weighing Based Drum Filling Machine is compact, accurate and robust in design. It consists of a filling controller, weighing platform and a dual stage filling valve. The filling controller is microcontroller based with fast sampling ADC. The load cell mounted below the weighing platform senses weight and sends signals to the filling controller. The dual stage filling valve operates in coarse and fine mode for required accuracy. Minimises operator exposure to hazardous materials.

Filling Process
- Place empty drum on weighing platform
- Controller tares/zeroes the weight
- Coarse valve opens for fast filling
- Fine valve takes over near target weight
- In-flight correction compensates for drip
- Valve closes — fill complete with LED/buzzer indication
